On Thu 12 Aug a team of district facilitators worked with 18 members of Cessnock Club in a workshop session to assist us to articulate and prioritize our goals over the next 5 years. It was a lot of fun and fellowship as well as serious club service and certainly focussed our attention on how we see the future of the Club. The many ideas will be put together and discussed with the whole Club in coming weeks and years.
Two New Paul Harris Fellows
At the recent Changeover Dinner two members received the recognition of Paul Harris Fellow. They are DGE Jannete Jackson and President 2010-11 John Retallick. Both members received the congratulations of the whole Club on receiving this important recognition.
Donation of Garden Shed by Bunnings
The Club has received good news that Bunnings has donated a garden shed for erection at Mayumarri. Very soon Club members will be holding a series of working bees to pour a concrete slab and then erect the shed.
